Travis Scott’s India debut was something fans across the country had been waiting
for. People came from all over the country just to witness such a historic moment in
live music history. The concert was held in Delhi, the capital of India. JLN Stadium
was the perfect venue for a concert of this scale and energy.

Even before the concert started, half the people were hooting, cheering, screaming,
and chanting his name like their lives depended on it. The other half were on their
phones, trying to memorize the lyrics of his songs. People were eager to hear him start
singing, but Travis didn’t come on the stage until nearly an hour past the scheduled
start.
But once he started, the time we all waited didn’t seem to matter anymore. He
launched right into Sicko Mode, Goosebumps, and tracks from his album, Utopia. The
energy was loud, and the visuals were absolutely amazing. And when the song
everyone had been waiting for, FE!N, was played, everyone collectively decided to
start recording. I’m sure most of those videos will probably never be watched again,
but I filmed too, because self-awareness has limits.

The crowd’s energy was way different from most concerts, the standing sections had
the energy of a cheetah, the voice of a mountain lion, and the excitement of a kid who
just had his first sugar rush. The sitting sections, however, resembled my energy at
school after pulling off an all-nighter without any caffeine.
By the end of the night, phones were dead, everyone’s vocal chords were fried and
clothes smelt like smoke. Most people didn’t even have any energy left to walk. I left
exhausted, tired, slightly deaf and oddly satisfied, which is probably the most correct
emotional response to a Travis Scott concert.
